🔎 Background
Post-COVID, Japan’s tourism industry faces rapidly shifting visitor needs, rising inbound demand, and severe labor shortages.
Ahead of Expo 2025 Osaka–Kansai, there is increasing pressure to attract inbound tourists through more compelling regional experiences. However, many stakeholders still struggle to apply data-driven decision-making rooted in real visitor perspectives.
To address this, the three partners launched a community pilot to:
- Deepen understanding of inbound travelers
- Strengthen collaboration among regional stakeholders
- Build an ecosystem around continuous VOC collection and data application
