About the Position

We’re seeking a Junior UI/UX designer to join our IT team. You’ll be involved in existing and new projects, collaborating with various stakeholders to create user-centric and visually appealing designs, from wireframes to finished products.

As a junior member, you’ll dive into existing projects, learning about workflows, products, customer needs, and design thinking. There’s significant room for career growth as a Project Coordinator/Manager.

Specific Responsibilities

Currently, we’re using design thinking to create a variety of consumer data platforms, serving a wide range of domestic and international companies and industries. Your tasks will include:

• Understanding the current situation and clarifying challenges through design research and stakeholder interviews.
• Assisting in designing the ideal user interface and user experience.
• Collaborating with the development team to implement UI/UX design and create interactive prototypes.
• Testing and incorporating user feedback to enhance the user experience.
• Supporting the development team in implementing the final design.
• Collaborating with stakeholders for coordination.

You’ll repeat this process, gradually expanding your design and project management responsibilities.

Job Requirements

• 3+ years UI/UX design experience in web system development (junior-level candidates are welcome).
• Proficiency in design software such as Sketch, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Familiarity with design research and the user-centered design methodologies
• Experience creating wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
• Someone who actively enjoys collaborating and communicating with multiple internal and external stakeholders
• Fluent in Japanese
• Business-level English, with other languages skills seen as a plus.
• Ability to work in our Kamakura office. Company policy allows for five remote days a month.
• Experience with user research, usability testing, and analytics is a plus.
• Passion for crafting beautiful, intuitive, and accessible experiences for users.
• Someone who enjoys taking on new challenges and tasks, without necessarily the prior experience or knowledge in the area.

• 250,000 – 400,000 JPY / month; 3,250,000 – 5,200,000 JPY / year
